CMOS Settings on the Henson 3200

There are four different configurations of CMOS setting screen, depending on the type of computer motherboard fitted to your machine. If the CMOS settings on your machine have been reset then the message "CMOS settings incorrect PRESS F1 to Continue" will probably appear when you switch the machine on. Pressing F1 will call up one of the settings menus as as shown below:-

If pressing F1 does not go directly to the CMOS settings, restsrt the machine and press DEL when prompted during the memory test.

Press over the title for the configuration on your machine.

CONFIGURATION 1

Standard CMOS setup

Advanced CMOS setup

Auto Config with...

........

Auto Detect Hard Disk

...

Write to CMOS and Exit

This configuration is the oldest and is used on both Flash ram (Serial No. Prior to 266248) and Hard Disk units.

The main menu here looks like a windows screen with 4 main sections called:-SETUP, UTILITY, SECURITY and DEFAULT

This configuration is fitted on the later machines.

 


There is a variation of the configuration two above, with extra titles, such as PERIPHERAL SETUP, etc,
